Security Team would like
to warn all Internet
users of the potential
impact of posting one's
personal information on
on-line databases and
websites.
Personal information
posted on public
newsgroup, public chat
groups, community
websites and even
private or commercial
on-line sites may be
accessible by anyone on
the Internet. Such
personal information may
be indexed and cached by
search engines such as
Google or Yahoo and may
therefore remain
available on search
engines even after the
original website has
removed the information.
Please keep this in mind
whenever posting
personal information on
public websites.
Personal information you
may have posted on
public websites may be
available to individuals
over the Internet
allowing a malicious
person to use such
information for their
gain or against you. |
